About Me:

I have a degree in Archaeology and a Dip Grad. I initially started working as an archeological illustrator, stepped sideways on to studying and working in anatomy/biological anthropology, eventually moving on to study surveying and work as a cartographer.

While most of my employment has been within the university sector I have also worked for several private companies as a graphic designer, most notably user interface development for in-house applications.

Publications

In 2007 I reviewed a cartography book that had been published posthumously. Ever wary of speaking ill of the dead, this task was undertaken with some trepidation. I was relieved to find that the book turned out to be a reasonable read, although not one I'd recommend to any novice illustrators/cartographers.
